Just installed the DB8 today on my dish HD box. Tried a couple of other high priced HD antennas from circuit city but was very disappointed. Hooked it (the DB8) up and I was amazed at how all my local high def channels came in clearly.

08-07-2006
August 7, 2006: EUREKA, MO — Antennas Direct President Richard Schneider is a featured writer in the August issue of Home Toys eMagazine. His article is titled HDTV and the Antenna Revolution.

In the article, Schneider covers the basics of off-air HDTV antennas, and provides tips on selecting the right antenna. He explains the difference between HD antennas, cable and satellite, and also discusses the future of HD in terms of the antenna.

"For most of the general public, there seems to be a cloud of confusion surrounding HDTV," Schneider said. "We welcomed this as an opportunity to shed some light on the subject and educate consumers about all of their options."

Schneider said many people are surprised to learn that antennas provide viewers with the clearest HD picture possible. Some view antennas as old technology, but Schneider said that many of the true HDTV enthusiasts out there use an antenna in their HD setup.
