Just wanted to let you know that the SR15 did the trick. Replacing my VHF/UHF unit with it bumped up the signal strength on all the digital local channels about 5-8 points.

One channel was still experiencing drop-outs, but re-aiming the SR15 slightly fixed that. Great performance for being 22 miles from the transmitting antennas, with the SR15 mounted only about 9' off the ground!

Thanks.

Indoor HDTV Antennas

Indoor TV antennas are often consumer’s most popular choice due to their ease of installation and low cost.  However, one must note that many indoor TV antennas are placed near the television set in which they are attached and this is often in a lower level of the home.  This lack of elevation combined with potential distortion from walls, furniture, and other impediments can often inhibit performance.  As such, indoor TV antennas typically perform best for those in close proximity to local transmitters with minimal topographical or structural impediments.
